I love peace

I love peace because peace is not only the absence of war. Peace is a way of living. Peace, as happiness and many other emotions, has different levels. The absence of war is the basic peace, after that there are different kinds of violence to be unquestionably deleted, like gender violence, criminal organizations or terrorism. The next step would be the non physical violence: from economic violence to bullying attitudes. And finally, in order to have the right to write peace with capital letters, we should have a positive and active attitude to extend peace, respect, empathy, dignity and solidarity all around to our neighbors and our society...  thinking about that, in the current world, we can consider a more close neighbor one person living in Tokyo that one other living in the third floor of our building, and our society can be considered (shoud be?) the whole world. What level of peace has our society of Castellon? What level of peace do you have?

In Castellon there are not only peaceful people, but also a place where to prepare people to help others to reach peaceful and developed societies. All the people from Castellon should feel proud to host the International Master in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies (PEACE Master) of the Universitat Jaume I, in the framework of the UNESCO Chair of Philosophy for Peace. A Master offering international level teachers, researches and students from around the world (from China to Haiti, Germany or Kenia) rich in experiences and highly encouraged to improve our world by our own improve as humans beings.
